I love every single thing about this bedroom including the jointed teddy bear. The atique bed is wonderful and I especially like the plaid woolen blanket. The framed antiquarian maps look great against the grasscloth wallpaper which is on the ceiling too. How nice is that?!! I can tell this is a small room but it's packed with interest, isn't it? via

Rosemary, With all the cozy aspects of this room, I wonder at the choice of lamp by the bed. One can get much older articulated reading lamps. The antiquarian maps, teddy bear, and blanket give such personality to this darling room. Thank you for posting such a lovely picture.
I'm with Grace on the lamp . . maybe it's the color - either a brushed brass type or even black I would have liked better. And I am such a plaid lover!! That's the first thing I noticed in the room. Gorgeous! *I'm a thrift shop type of gal, so I don't shop much for new - but I love the Birch Lane ad you placed on your blog - lots of beautiful things on their website. I let my sister know and she's already bought a few things:)
It is gorgeous! I confess the placement of pictures next the window bother me. Not that I think the larger should be below the smaller. I just find something about it disturbing.
Karen -- I don't pick the ads that appear in the sidebar of my blog and also below a single post. Google picks them based on your search history. Yesterday I was searching for a sprayer to attach to my bathtub spout so I could wash my hair without using my shower head in my ceiling. Today I am seeing ads for these handheld sprayers when I look at my own blog. I am not allowed to click on the ads myself but I'm glad you liked the ones you saw. Every click helps me. Thank you. You know I am a thrift shop person too.

I love the wall and the pictures and how they are arranged. I could live in that room.
My eye was totally drawn towards that plaid blanket, it's my FAV thing in this room. I confess I didn't even notice the lamp and had to back and look for it. It was all about the blanket for me.
