This is what 78 looks like and I love that Ali MacGraw is growing old so gracefully.
She's as beautiful as ever. She wrote a great article about how she has found inner peace.
Her clothing designs are beautiful and she wears them so well.
A fire burned her house down in ‘93 and took with it many of her designer treasures, including original Halstons. MacGraw has since stuck to a uniform: tees, black skinny jeans and ballet flats, plus accessories — just like what she’s wearing in the above photo — and, “one or two things a year that are hair-raisingly expensive but I know will last my lifetime.”

My mom is two years younger than Ali but they look very much alike (though Mom isn't given to chunky necklaces and while she never wore much makeup, these days, she just uses a bit of brow color to fill in where they're sparse). I'm super grateful to have her as my aging role model. I've stopped coloring my hair – I have so much grey now, the maintenance would be ridiculous and expensive – and my skin is in really good condition because I haven't covered it in foundation and other stuff for decades. I hope I make it into my late 70s. And I hope I look like Mom and Ali.
Oh Ali, you didn’t get facelifts and Botox and whatever. You even let your feet be photographed and they look your age. You are beautiful. I love that you would be so real. And even commercially. I wish I could tell you. What’s the point of living long and not being proud of it. You are inspiring, as you are also Rosemary. Wonderful post!
I've always thought that Ali has incredibly beautiful eyes, and they still are! Although there are some lines and softening of the jawline, it's all good. Such gorgeous hair, too. She appears to be comfortable with herself, and that makes a person even more appealing.
When I spotted the second photo on Pinterest a couple of yrs ago..I was smitten all over again with her:)
I even looked for a similar necklace.
She is absolutely beautiful ..far more than the stars that have used plastic surgery.I just love her..so natural.
