Cloudscape from My Balcony

I have the most amazing sky views, in all kinds of weather, from my balcony. via Thankfully, my heatwave is over and I'm back to having all the windows open with birdsong streaming inside. xo

Isn't it amazing how quickly the sky can change! We are blessed to have broad views, too, and always enjoy watching the rising and setting sun, and the beautiful clouds.

You took the words out of my mouth. You're channeling Constable himself. I enjoy every one of your photos. Our neighbor built an extension on the back of her house that now blocks our view of the sunset, such as it was. Your view is truly an asset of your cottage.

You do have the most amazing view from your balcony and you seem to photograph it at the perfect moments when nature is displaying it's finest art work.

Glad your getting a break from the high temps. Our heatwave is endless. In a dry climate it's so easy to become dehydrated which leaves one exhausted, achy and fuzzy thinking. I'm trying hard to drink more water even though I might not be thirsty. Amazingly it does cool down at night here and one can open the windows. I think that having the AC run all the time can also give one a headache.

Was this photo taken at twilight Rosemary, if so a truly lovely end to the day?

justaweecatnam -- Boo hoo for you, not having your sunset view. Mine is one of my favorite things about my cottage and you are right to call it an asset. I don't have actual sunsets since the sun rises out back. I'm told mine is called a reverse sunset. The sun goes down in front of my cottage cut I ca's see it because of the tall trees across the street. I think my reflected sunsets are just as beautiful.

The Queen Vee -- Victoria, I took the photo at 8:08pm. It doesn't get completely dark here until around 9PM.
