Another Peek into My Pantry

I found a beautiful brown transferware pitcher on Thursday at a rummage sale.

Here it is on display in my pantry. There is a window to the left behind the geranium.

Here is the other side showing my little downstairs desk where I work on my blog with my laptop. This little room is a favorite place because it's small and has two windows. The one with the desk looks out to my front garden and the one behind looks out on my barn/garage in the back. When I bought my cottage, it was a tiny screened porch.
I have enjoyed a rainy Saturday baking muffins and just being generally busy doing inside chores and reading. More rain is predicted for tomorrow too. Have a great weekend. xo

I love your collection of copper pots on the top shelf, Rosemary. They look old. Are they?

P.S. I know you folks back east are getting a lot of cold and wet weather. Meanwhile we Californians seem to be short of rain again so far this year. I'm praying we get a lot soon! We certainly don't need another dry year. Please send some rain our way!

As I recall, there's a radiator in that tiny space too providing much-needed warmth while you work at your desk. Such a sweet much-loved space. Thanks for sharing.

What a cozy space. I'll bet it feels wonderful to work at your desk, surrounded by scenes from the outside, as well as cherished books and your collections. Thanks for sharing your home with us!!

Gail, northern California :: Gail, You have such a good memory. Yes, there is a radiator to the right of my desk with a hanging cupboard above for storage. It's warm and toasty in there on a cold winter's day.

lisa, I posted another photo of my old copper pots this morning with a closeup of the monogram on each one.

Pam and Betty -- Yes, it's a wonderful place to work on my computer, pay bills, or look for a recipe in one of my cookbooks. Thanks for liking it too.

This pantry, unlike any other, is charming and a multi-tasker of a small space. Plus, how many pantries have windows! A true bonus.
Thank you for another peek into this unique treasure trove, Rosemary. And, congratulations on your recent finds.
You have inspired me to put my rainy Sunday to good use, too.

I agree with Linda above, but then I always agree with her.

Oh I do love your new brown transpire pitcher, it's a beauty. You would never find something like that a rummage sale where I now live....sigh.
