OH, it is very close to the house next door...too close for me. I do love white cottages though..... kind of wish we had painted our present cottage white.
That's the way they are building houses, condos, etc. in my town now. You're close enough to your neighbor that you can lean out a side window and shake hands with your neighbor next door. They need all the tax money they can get and squeeze on as many as they can per acre. They also build too close to the street, thus forever preventing any street widening. To top it off, the price is ridiculous! But plenty are paying the price.
Mary Duffy -- Running the steps the full length of the porch would require too many handrails. They are required by code anytime there are three steps or more. xo, Rosemary

I like it, too . . . the only thing that would make it better is if it were on an acre of land with a white picket fence :)
I think it needs larger windows, along with not so close neighbors, but it is cute.

Very cute little cottage! I think I would have to add shutters, though.
I love the front porch on this cottage the best!
It's charming. Tara Dillard would tell them to run the steps the full length of the porch.
