Snow Storm at My Cottage

We got this much overnight. Pic taken at 7:30 am. That was before the wind started howling from the north creating a total whiteout. We are fine!

A quick whiz and back he ran.

It's not obvious in the photo but he was running fast to get back in the house.

He has had breakfast and has gone out twice more. Now he's resting snugly on his dog bed. Sleep is the best way to deal with this stuff. Be safe, stay warm, and don't go out unless you have to! xo

Brrrr! I hope you are stocked up with all you need while you wait for this stuff to melt or the plows to get you out of there. Poor Webster. Not fun for him surely.

Looks like you got about 12"? So glad your power didn't go out. That enables you to stay cozy and enjoy the winter wonderland. Here we sit in northern Minnesota with only about 6" so far this whole winter. Doesn't seem right, does it? Don't worry about shoveling yet . . . the wind will either blow spots bare or pile it up in your cleared paths. Thanks for letting us know what's going on at your place.

bless his heart!
i'm glad you're both safe and warm.
I can't think of a cozier more beautiful place to be 'snowed in' than your cottage!

Its's very pretty but I'm sure glad I don't have to shovel snow any more. We only get 1-2" if we get any. I do feel sorry for Webster though, can you imagine using an outhouse in the winter? Brrrrrrr!

It is very picturesque :) And a lovely day to keep cozy inside your cottage.

Hi,
I've just watched the videos from your area (Jersey Shore - don't know how close you are.) Wow! You and Webster stay warm and stay safe and, poor ol' Webster, do you business and get right back in.
You two are in my thoughts.
All the best,
Cathy (London, ON Canada)

Three plus feet at my house, no streets plowed but Ken has power and food. I hope he'll be able to get out by Wednesday to pick me up from the airport. Grateful that you and the Webster boy are snug and warm. Be careful tomorrow when you shovel.
