Chicken in the Red Clover Patch

I have lots of this red clover here and there on my property mixed in with the white clover which is predominant. I'm told white clover is better for bees because their tongues aren't long enough to get the nectar from the red clover. I have no idea whether this is true or not because I have seen red clover honey on the shelves. via

I read this week that eggs have doubled in price recently because of rampant avian flu spreading through commercial operations.

Your chicken in clover reminds me of how grteful for my little flock of six girls who provide a never-ending supply of delicious organic eggies.

What a beautiful chicken! We just came back from a graduation back near Boston; and our cats and dogs are happy to see us!

The grass is always greener! It poured rain today on our way back; and I cried with happiness! Our ducklings loved it; but our plants loved it more!

A drought is an awful thing. Gorgeous peonies! Can you cut them and bring them in? Would they be okay?

We can't grow them here....I just love them. My favorite flowers are lilacs and peonies...just what I said....the grass is greener!!
