Tabitha in Her Cat Basket

Your wish is my command. I just went into my bedroom to snap this photo of Tabitha in her cat basket on my unmade bed. She has been outside already and has had breakfast. Now she's down for a morning nap. She has such a good life, doesn't she? Old woolen sweaters are her favorite bedding material. I have a blanket on top of my bedspread that is the color of her fur in case she gets out of the basket to sleep in another spot. Have a great day. xo

I just KNEW there was a fantastic picture behind your words yesterday! Tabitha is darling in the basket, of course, but I also love your curtains and bookshelves. What a perfect vignette! Thank you!!

What is it about cats curled up in baskets that makes me weak in the knees? I've never had a cat that would sleep in a basket unless it was filled with clean laundry! Both Tabitha and those puppies are adorable.

Tabitha looks so cozy and comfy, and why not. I wouldn't mind sleeping on a pile of woolen sweaters either. :-)

Awww, she looks very cozy. Our cats love sleeping on wool blankets - there must be something in wool that they really love. I, too, see bookshelves full of books from my bed. Love seeing yours!

My Missy has the same schedule! It must be a cat thing. I'm determined to come back in my next life as the cat of an owner like me. I mean, who has staff like me...

What a lucky and well-loved, treasured cat! Your beautiful mother brought that cat; and I am still is there with you all!

I love how she looks in the basket with the sweaters; the check curtains and the bookcase!

All worthy of the most beautiful of houses!

Penelope

ps Bunny Mellons houses remind me of yours! take a peek! I mean it!!!

AD online......I think.....google "Bunny Mellon" auction......it isn't the things by themselves....it is how she "lived" and how comfortable and lovely her houses felt! You were the first to spring to my mind!!!
