This is the left wing of the Swan Hotel in Bibury. I have stayed there before and it was just lovely. It's right in the middle of town. We fly fished in the bigger stream in front of the hotel and caught some big trout. Later we were told by the hotel that there was a trout farm just upriver. Ha!
It was early June and the hotel was not full. Later when I returned home, I noticed in the British Country Life magazine a two page spread of the building in the "property for sale" section. It's still The Swan Hotel I'm pretty sure, but likely a different management.
Thanks for the memory, it's such a special village.

This is breathtakingly beautiful. Oh, to be in England.
