I'll be happy when the grass starts looking better in my photos. I woke up early enough this morning to enjoy this beautiful pink sky. Webster had another wedge of cornbread on his breakfast and he thanks you all for his birthday greetings yesterday. See you later. xo

Pink in the morning,
Sailor's warning.
Pink at night,
Sailor's delight.
It has turned into a very gray day with rain in the forecast. I don't mind. I need a rainy day!

Yes, my dad used to say, "Red sky at dawning, sailor take warning."
Wish you could send any extra rain my way. We're parched!
Be happy you can at least see grass! Ours is still (gee, I hope it's still there) under feet of snow!
Webster, isn't it great when your birthday cake lasts for a few days??!?
Never heard any of those saying, but my mama used to tell me that a pink sky at night meant cool weather. Maybe that's just in the south. Either way, it's beautiful. Anything pink is beautiful. God loves color!
