I don't get the last one, do you?
UPDATE: Okay, I understand now. Thank your wife's mother for bring your wife into the world. Thanks everyone!!!

I believe sending flowers to the mother in law is in gratitude for the source of his happiness - his wife - whom he would never have known, had it not been for his mother in law who produced her on the day his wife was born. Very sweet.

I'm thinking that perhaps the flowers sent to the mother-in-law are his way of saying "thank you for giving birth to this lovely lady, my wife."

That man thought of EVERYTHING.

The last one is easy (c: Send your wife's mother flowers on your wife's birthday in appreciation of her existence.

The last one was my favorite. You are thanking her mom for the fact that your wife was born.

Yes I get it! If it were not for your mother-law you would not have your particular wife,so she deserves some credit.

I am thinking he means to thank the mother-in-law for giving birth to his wife. A different and touching concept.

Love these. Sure, I get the last one; remember these are written from a father to a son. Thank your MIL for raising the child who grew up to become your wife. Corny, but sweet.

It's an interesting idea. I hate to be cynical, but I wonder if this guy is the most wonderful father/husband/son-in-law that ever existed, or just a really good ad exec with a knack for packaging a product. I admire all the things he says, but I fear I don't accomplish more than a few of what he suggests. But, I like thinking that even at my age I could rally and accomplish a few more of these ideas.
