The Bletchley Circle Season 2 Tonight

I'm off to the bedroom to watch Call the Midwife that is recording on my DVR. I just found out that after Mr. Selfridge, a new season of The Bletchley Circle is on tonight. I loved Season One. Here's a preview of Season Two on PBS.
Mad Men, Season 7 is on tonight too. Why do all the good shows have to be on Sunday night? There are 7 programs on tonight that I want to watch. I'll have to watch half of them online. Oh well, it's a good problem to have. I love TV. Enjoy your programs. xo

Yes, the Sunday night problem .. It's Mad Men and Good Wife for me ... I declined Bletchley this time, just too many recordings and catch up to do. (I have a long list of stuff I have to watch, so choices have to be made.)

I have to watch both programs in the daytime, otherwise these people are in bed with me all night.

Enjoy

BTW ... did you see the Diana Vreeland doc a couple weeks ago on EPIX ... The Eye Has to Travel? It was 'divine' ... you can get it on iTunes or Amazon or Netflix ... I've watched it five times and still not done, the music is fabulous.

It's so fascinating ...

I'm so glad I saw your post on this show, Rosemary. I loved this show and didn't realize it was coming back as a series. I have the same problem with too many shows on the one night, too. I did find that it is on at 2 a.m. Monday night on my PBS station so I have set it to record then. Then I can just watch on the night when there is absolutely nothing on that I like!

Busy weekend for me with company in town and hosting a big dinner tonight. And now I just found out, thanks to you, that the Bletchley Circle was on tonight and I missed it. Guess I'll be catching up on it via the net.

Thanks for the heads up and thanks tp PBS I can catch up.

I love Bletchley Circle, though last season was gruesome at times. I couldn't stop watching it though. Tonight I found it a bit hard to follow, and, as always with BBC, miss some of the dialogue. But I do admire those women. So nice to see women with brains. So often women's physical attributes are flaunted with no expectation of intellectual ability.
I could never get into Call the Midwife; watching women in labor doesn't appeal to me.
Rosemary, I, too, am frustrated by an overload of good shows on one night. Our local station keeps playing the same lineup of shows again and again and again and again. I keep wishing they'd spread out the Masterpiece Theatre episodes a bit instead. I think Mr. Proenneke's built an entire subdivision in Alaska by now.

Karen in VA...I love The Good Wife, it's actually one of my favorite shows but it never starts on time and in order to record it, I have to record the show after it also. I usually watch it on demand or online. That Travel show sounds good....I'll have to look for it if I EVER catch up on all my shows. I did watch Bletchley Circle last night and loved it.
