I wonder what is going on here ... after all this time they decide to come together? Is it the miserable winter?

It's just too cute ...

Very amusing to watch, isn't it. My experience tells me they may "get close," but never really chummy. Once warmer weather arrives, she'll probably be looking for a cooler sleep location. But what a swell guy Webster is to even let her get this close. :-)

That thought occurred to me too. Maybe it was the deep snow and having Webster outside every time she was. Maybe she found comfort in that. Maybe she felt protected by him.

JudyMac...You are probably right. Tabitha is pretty set in her ways after all these years. She is getting so much better at tolerating Webster but might never love him.

Their relationship reminds me so of the one which our cat, Miss Magellan, attempted to forge between herself and Jess and later Josie, dogs. Their seldom was any eye contact for these either. But, there was peace and respect and we thought it so sweet.
Sweet snuggles all
