They are Slowly Bonding

I told Webster to go get in his bed and with my assistance, he did. So far, so good.

This might work, she says, as long as he stays on the blanket part of the bed. They stayed that way for a while until Webster got too hot and found another spot. I'm so happy. It's never too late to become friends, is it?

Forgive me, Rosemary, but I think Tabitha loved being with your mom, she was a feline nurse. After your mother died, she endured a period of mourning and now she is seeking comfort for herself even if it comes courtesy of an elderly, gentle dog.

Gail...Maybe so. Webster has wanted to be friends from day one. I can't even remember how long Tabitha has iived here but it's at least 7 or 8 years. She has been studying him a lot lately from afar and I think she has decided he's okay. I would dearly love to know what goes on between them when I'm not home.

Rosemary,
This is so sweet. We've had cats and dogs forever and most of the time they're fast friends, but our last cat (RIP) did not like our latest dog and never was willing to share space with her. :-(
What creature wouldn't love Webster?
