This Snowy Owl is happy and so am I. For some reason my area dodged the snow bullet and I am thrilled.
Both of these photos were captured at The Jersey Shore by @magyarolas on Instagram. Aren't they beautiful? I hope I will see a Snowy Owl in the wild some day!

Rosemary, I am so happy to hear that this storm chose us and not you. You have had more than your share if you count the first snowfall of the season when it wasn't officially winter, numbers of storms, amounts of snow. For some reason, I find the confinement this storm has brought to be very welcome.
The snow drops valiantly grow beneath all of this, mighty little plants that they are. Do you have these at the Cottage?
Happy NO snow day.

Linda...Yes, I have snowdrops and they have always bloomed in February until this year. The are still buried under a foot of snow. I'll be lucky to see them before April this year. Love them. Thanks for being happy the snow skipped over me. xo, Rosemary
I too am happy that while the snow didn't skip us it was substantially less thanks to tracking further south. I'm not so sure how Washington DC feels about that though!
