Beautiful Yellow Barn

Lately I've featured green barns and red barns. I've never seen a yellow one, have you?
It's lovely, isn't it? It would be cheerful to look at on the dreariest of days. I am supposed to have three straight days of on and off again rain but I have sun this morning. Happy Friday. xo via

Happy Friday ... this is a charming barn, but maybe not a cows and pigs barn, you think? It's also a beautiful photo, I pinned it.

It just kind of brightens your day .. thanks for sharing.

At least you're not having snow.

I've never seen a yellow barn either, but I love it. Yellow is such a happy color.

Wow! Yellow! I know I've never seen the different barns that you show on here, but love them! Makes me want a yellow house.

If you like yellow barns, you should check out the one at Mohonk Mountain House, a resort near New Paltz, NY. http://thereddogparty.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/barnmuseumcourtyard.jpg It's a massive barn with a working stable, a resident sculptor/rustic structure builder, and its own museum! http://www.mohonk.com/activities/overnight/barnmuseum

Ann....The secret to transplanting is to dig them up deeply and put them in their new location with all of the old soil from the previous location. They don't even know they have been moved. I divided the clumps too. It was a gloomy day with showers. That helped too. They haven't had any direct sun yet, so they are still very perky. xo, Rosemary
