This is the seaside area where Doc Martin is filmed. Does anyone know when the new season begins? I can't wait to see how he, Louisa, and the baby get on when they start living together as a family. Has it started in England yet? Let me know. Enjoy this beautiful Sunday.

The new series has started in the UK Rosemary. Let's just say, it has the usual ups & downs!
Good Morning, yes, Doc Martin has started in the UK. Even though I live in Ontario, I watch in through a VPN called Tunnel Bear. It allows you access to 4 or 5 countries' TV programming and because it is streamed, you can watch anytime you like. If you want more info let me know. This is the best thing since sliced bread.
I'm happily working my way through the first parts of the Doc Martin series. One of the most enjoyable aspects of it is the absolutely beautiful scenery. I hope Netflix continues to handle the most recent episodes!
I love this series, too! I don't think we'll see the final season here till sometime next year.
I've already seen all the shows (Netflix streaming a couple of years ago) and like others, I love the scenery! I did not know it took place in Cornwall. Funny but my favorite part is the opening of the show with the music and the tide going in and out. Love beaches, boats, etc. Spectacular! I really liked the show too but I could not watch it a second time. Not sure why that happens with some shows but I just could not sit through some of them again ... unlike All Creatures Great and Small which I have seen many times over. Oh and thanks for the "cats stealing dog beds" video. Hilarious and true!
.. interesting ... I moved from CT in July, where PBS there had Louisa & baby and Martin in separate houses ... then moved to VA where she has just turned up back in the village pregnant. I'm all over the place, but absolutely LOVE it ...
Candice, I would love to know if we can get UK television on that Tunnel Bear thing !!!!
cheers 'Martin' mates
Karen in CT ... now VA
hubs and I love that show.
I had no idea there were going to be more Doc Martin's. I thought it was over. I'll be watching for it, we loved what we saw, which I thought was the complete set of episodes.

An English woman at my yard sale told me that she recently saw the next series in England and that we would be very please with it. I'm tired of all the repeats and am more than ready for the next chapters! Love it.

LOL. We all get our fix in different ways. I get mine from the library, so my season is whenever they buy the next set. I look enviously at Acorn Media's emails that advertise their streaming TV service. Can't really justify the expense, so I'll have to wait for the library. I have watched the whole thing twice, but I know what Karen means; some shows I can't watch more than once, some over and over, like Foyle's War.
hi, sorry to be anon but google account just is confused because it can't remember my password.
The beach picture so reminded of a book I thought you might enjoy called Remarkable Creatures. Maybe you've read it but if not I have a feeling you would like it a lot. I'm sure you could find it in your library but here's the Amazon link just for the info. So love to follow your pics and stories. Hello to Tabitha !!

I loved that book. It would be fun to look for fossils on the beaches and cliffs of Cornwall, wouldn't it?
xo, Rosemary
One thing nice about having a lousy memory is that you can watch something over and over again and enjoy it. I bet I've watched "As Time Goes By" (all of it) at least 30 times and I'm the same with Doc Martin. If I happen to turn on the TV and it's on, even though I've seen it, I'll watch it again. I think it will come on after the New Year. I'm so busy right now that I'm grateful that it isn't playing as I wouldn't have time to watch it. I do a lot of reading and TV watching Jan-March.
