bigger than my whole little galley kitchen! i dearly love open shelving. you know that. i think you do too. as to butlers... nope. but if i were wealthy i'd have a cook. nothing like saying "i think i'll have breakfast on the terrace this morning martha. please just surprise me!" martha would then bring a little dish of eggs benedict and crisp dry toast and lovely black coffee! and of course... martha would have a pantry like your picture.

Oh, my! There is something so appealing about a "butler's pantry!" Old world-ish and genteel. Do you think a butler automatically comes with one?
MamaPea....In a perfect world YES. In reality NO. If I had that pantry, I'd gladly give up having a butler. I've never been one to be waited on. :)
Rosemary,
I've always thought a butler's pantry or walk-in pantry would be wonderful. So much easier to see what you have in the cupboard.

Love it all. The colours, the space and the bead-board. Wow!
Now that is a pantry!! Love the color and everything about it! I agree, I could forgo the butler just to have the pantry!!
