I have always loved a red front door but my shutters are green so I have resisted. I hope to have my house painted this year and I'm thinking about changing my color combination...and maybe sawing my front door in half. :) via
Rosemary, I have a red door and blue shutters. I think you could still use the red door if you wanted to keep you shutters green. I have a dutch door at the B&B. Love them!
Now these are two exciting new options for the cottage. Let us all know what you decide to do. I want to change the color of our front door, too, and for no particular reason other than it would be fun to have a change. Linda

that looks so cheerful and welcoming! of course the view of the beautiful green foliage doesn't hurt.
I love a Dutch door. Makes me want to paint my front door red.
