Here it is again looking very similar in every way to last year's tree. I draped wooden cranberry garlands on the tree and painting this year. A few more small shiny balls were discovered in a box in the attic so there are more ornaments. I'm glad I switched from the floor to ceiling tree to this table-top size. Like it? Rosemary
UPDATE: I hope the weather people are wrong about the amount of snow they say is coming this way. I am not at all prepared for 12-16 inches of the white stuff. I have to go and bring in lots more firewood and try to pound in the driveway markers for the plow man. Oh dear.

Very pretty, Rosemary! I'm going to switch to a smaller tree also. The big ones are just too much work anymore, and I just think the smaller ones are so charming.
I like the wooden cranberry beads.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
I love it! That is my type of Christmas style - it is beautiful.
Hope you and Webster have fun playing in the snow today.
I love your little table top tree. It's really very beautiful. I also noticed the delightful nest of lights around the snowman. How long have you had the wooden cranberry garland and where did you find it?
If the truth be known, I switched to a small artificial tree, and the last two years let my granddaughters decorate it before they leave after the long Thanksgiving weekend. I miss the fragrance of pine, no doubt about that, but I grew tired of worrying about the potential for fire. The last live Noble fir set me back $40 too. That's when I said, "Enough."
Dear RoseMary,
I put up a small silk tree. all ready to go.I store it with every thing on it in the Garage. My Daughter was here last Christmas. We went to a farm and picked a tree it was 10 ft. What a mess.
I know what ya mean about those
markers in the drive.
Mine have been run over. Stay Warm

Love it when you post pictures of your home. The tree is lovely. I have a small one too, it's so much easier, but I haven't put it up yet.....looking at yours makes me want to even more!! Did you get the snow? Stay warm...
Love the tree!

After pounding in those markers, hope you're going to come in and sit by the fire and drink some hot cocoa!!!
Just beautiful Rosemary! We've been seeing the massive snow storms the East Coast has be experiencing, stay warm & cosy.
Millie ^_^
Dear Rosemary,
I love the decoupage lamp next to your precious Christmas tree. Did you make it, buy it, find it at a house sale????? I want one, but hate to pay the price...... I saw one years ago for which I still pine. It was red with dog scrap pictures. Wonderful!
Thanks so much for sharing all your beautiful pictures and thoughts.
Janie
