Unwanted newspapers still appearing in my driveway . . .
They're back! I shall have to resort to other tactics to keep the delivery boy from throwing unwanted circulars wrapped in plastic bags at my house. He just doesn't get it. Most of the neighbors don't even pick them up until there is a big pile.
This photograph is an antique folk art carving of a hand holding a newspaper. How appropriate for this post. It is one of my favorite things. The dark areas are tree bark. I added the cool stamp border here. Have a great Sunday. Happy Father's Day.

I love that statue! I had an idea about your paperboy... for one thing, you could wait for him and ask him to stop. no....on second thought, tell him in a very stern voice to "stop leaving those stupid papers on my property!!! Do you understand me??" Maybe that would work, but probably not... lol. Could you call the ad agency that puts them out and threaten a lawsuit? Or at least ask nicely for them stop leaving them in your driveway... they are so wasteful.
I can so identify with your demise here. My home also is deluged with unwanted advertisements on a regular basis, many stuck in the crack between the front door and the jamb. Summertime seems to really bring on the peddlers. And...don't even get me started on the garbage stuffed into the mailbox daily. I really like Sue's suggestion. Glad you are feeling better!

Oh, so sorry to hear this. Perhaps you should hide in the shrubbery with a slingshot???
I second Softsecret's suggestion. Talking to the company the boy works for should be effective. If it isn't publish their name on your blog!
