I thoroughly enjoyed reading an interview with 63 year old Julian Fellowes, the creator and writer of "Downton Abbey" in the WSJ. The interview is entitled:

His full title in real life is: Baron Fellowes of West Stafford, Lord of the Manor of
Tattershall, Deputy Lieutenant of Dorset. He is properly addressed as Lord Fellowes.
