I thought this photo of Holland in the spring would be a fitting image for this morning. My daffodils are almost all gone but other people still seem to have them. We are so eager for the first blooms of spring but the late-blooming varieties are necessary to have a grand display that lasts. I would love to see the tulip fields in The Netherlands, wouldn't you? I'll be back later, Rosemary.

Three Nice Porches
Which one do you like best? Porch season is here. It's drizzling rain at my house today but there's a little chill in the air so I'll have to choose the first one because it's glassed in. When it gets hotter I'll move to the second one. The third is a nice place to sit and watch the world go by since it looks out on the front. I'll sip my morning coffee there and watch the bluebirds fly around catching insects to feed their babies.

Bluebells On A Country Path
I thought you'd all enjoy taking a morning walk with me down this country lane to look at all the bluebells on this slope in the UK. Aren't they beautiful?

Goodnight, Time For Bed And Primetime
I Love This Old House
Dibs. I saw it first. This is exactly my kind of house. I wouldn't even have to go inside. If the price were right, I would just buy it. It breaks my heart to think it has been abandoned. Wonder where it is? I love the tall broom grass too.

Diane Keaton's Beverly Hills Home $10.95M
"What the mind knows the eye sees." Great quote.
Diane Keaton Re-lists Beverly Hills Home for $10.95M
'Annie Hall' actress Diane Keaton has re-listed her Beverly Hills mansion for 16% under last year's $13M price tag. Built by architect Ralph Flewelling in the 1920's, the 7-bedroom, 9 bathroom [9,000 sq. foot] Spanish Colonial Revival has re-emerged on the market for $10.95 million. Good luck Diane. I still love your glasses.

Flowers Growing In The Grass
My grass could use a good cutting but I can't make myself mow over the grape hyanciths and wild white violets. Could you? I just learned that the New Jersey State Flower is the common meadow violet. Maybe that's why I have so many. I have purple ones too but I love the contrast of the white ones against their dark green leaves and the grass. They have such sweet pansy-like faces.

Reading In A Pretty Chair
Justin Bieber + Tina Fey SNL Rehearsal
I should have stayed up last night to watch this. Did you see Saturday Night Live? I must admit that I'd never even heard of Justin Bieber until I saw all the promos but now I love him too.
He has a new Audio CD: Justin Bieber ~ My World 2.0

Life's Little Instruction Book | Volume II | Page 9
I like the last one on this page. Some people don't live up to their relatives and others surpass them. Focus on the individual. It's a beautiful sunshiny Sunday here at the cottage and the spring leaves that are beginning to pop make the trees look like impressionist paintings. Have a great day, Rosemary.
