Up With The Sun This Morning

I seem to be adjusting well to the new time. Today is the second day I've awakened a few minutes before the alarm went off. I had already finished my coffee when I took this photo in my kitchen. Have a great Thursday. xo

Geometric Shapes in My Morning Sky

View out my kitchen window early this morning. I walked past my closed Roman blinds in the living room and didn't see this amazing view until I reached the kitchen sink. I immediately went outside to get a larger view. 

One orange cloud looks like a bird in flight. The long streaks are like strokes of a pen or paint brush. The sun was rising and it was very beautiful. I ate the last two slices of a cantaloupe to celebrate the orangishness of my morning.

Pink Fog at My Cottage This Morning

I woke up early this morning and my bedroom was enveloped in pink. I hopped out of bed, grabbed my Nikon, and captured this rare pink fog. This photo is right out of the camera with no filters. It was probably the result of the refracted color of the sunrise bouncing off the morning fog. It didn't last long before turning to the normal gray. I'm happy I woke up just in the nick of time. Maybe I'll have purple rain later (smile).

Good Sunday Morning from My Cottage. The sunrise was beautiful. I'm looking forward to the Super Moon tonight, known as The Beaver Moon. The largest one since 1948 and there won't be another one until 2036 so I'd better catch this one!!!

Wow, This is Cool

I wish I could say I did this myself, but Google did it for me. Remember when they put falling snow in one of my photos recently? When I set up a program to have access to pictures on my phone directly from this blog page, there was something called Auto Awesome. I checked it and this is what they did to several sunrise photos I took from my bedroom window. Awesome!
