A Lovely Scene in the English Countryside

I honestly can't tell if the gentleman on the tractor is driving the sheep or trying to get around them. Either way, this photograph is wonderful. Just look at that newly plowed field in the background! via

Cow Kisses

via
If this doesn't make you smile, nothing will. The animal world never ceases to amaze me. These cows seem to really love that dog and he adores their kisses. So sweet!

Ducky Weather

I am amazed at how well animals cope with the cold weather. Mine go out willingly and seem to enjoy a romp but are glad to get back inside to defrost. Isn't this a great photo of the duck looking through the chicken wire covered by a hoar frost? via

Sheep in the Snow

I love their white smiling faces and pink noses. I had a pretty productive day today and hope you did too. Tucking in pretty soon to watch some recorded programs. xo

Golden Fields of Canola Flowers

The Rape Seed fields in England are in full flower ready to be harvested for Canola Oil. What a lovely sight. via

I wouldn't mind getting stuck in this sort of traffic jam. via Enjoy your Sunday. xo

Goat Friends

After an open house yesterday I drove by some goats and pulled over.

This was the only one with a beard. I call him Billy Goat Gruff.

They were an active group and quite friendly. Some of them looked like milkers. What a fun way to end my day. See you tomorrow. xo

A Sheep and A Selfie

Not far from me is a house with a barn in the front yard and a few sheep. This one posed nicely for me.

I was happy when leaving a small strip mall because I finally found a black bumper for my iPhone for $6.99 at Radio Shack. Yay. So I took a selfie, posing in my outside mirror.
I can't believe it's March, can you? It came in like a lamb and it was an absolutely beautiful day. We'll see if it goes out like a lion at the end of the month. Have a great rest of the weekend. xo

Great Recessed Entrance

Isn't this the nicest recessed entrance ever? I copied the photo from Instagram. I follow this little dog's owner who is a farmer across the pond. Benjamin Hole documents the ebb and flow of farming life on the Isle of Purbeck, England. This new pup's name is Ochre. Watch her in this little video (click on white arrow). Don't forget to look at My Instagram too.

Making Ice Cream

Fresh from the Cows. via
I was so happy when I got back from the post office a while ago. Webster was waiting for me at the door. He had a really good night last night. He came to the kitchen when he heard me mixing his breakfast kibble too. We can learn from our animals. Throw in the towel and take to the bed when you are ailing. Rest is the best medicine!

Wouldn't this be nice every morning? I've already had my two cups of coffee but I had to pour them myself. See you later. via

They seem very comfortable posing for the camera, don't they? I love their facial expressions. via
