Love the lambs! Seeing the ornate metal register in the floor stirs up fond memories of my childhood: Christmasses spent gathered around a similar register upstairs at my Grandparents' with my cousins so we could eavesdrop on the grownups playing cards at the kitchen table below. Sound, including adult voices, travelled up those registers better than heat!
