Simple Top Crust Pie Decor

Isn't this fork decoration beautiful? What a great and super-simple idea! I will definitely copy it when I make a chicken pot pie in the near future. The apple pie above is going to be beautiful. via

Mosaic Tile Floor with Birds

This is spectacular, isn't it? Wish I could see the whole thing. What a work of art! Hope you are having a great weekend. Most but not all of my trees are budding and the spring green is beautiful. I cleaned my deck yesterday and it looks almost brand new. I forced all of the dirt from between the joints with a screw driver and blew it away with my power leaf blower. Then I squirted with the jet selection of my hose sprayer and wet everything down. Then I mopped it with a foaming oxy-deck cleaner and scrubbed it with a stiff broom. It was fun playing in the water and the end result is very satisfying. I didn't clean it at all last year and it really needed it. That and hacking away at overgrown multiflora were my two accomplishments yesterday. Today I've just been enjoying the weather and not much else. xo

Snow Swag on my Picket Fence

I woke up this morning to another snow swag. I have had them in the past and they never cease to amaze me. Unfortunately, I still have my screens in the windows so you can see the grids. This swag is holding on for dear life and I'm glad I captured it before it gets any warmer outside and it turns loose. Isn't nature fascinating? I love the impressions left from the picket tops. I hope it lasts until I can go outside and get a good photo without the screen. See you later. xo

This is an older one from a past snow storm. I see there was a screen in the window then too.

Woody The Trailer - Cool DIY Project

A young couple on the move built a small home that will go wherever life takes them. They designed this beauty and built it themselves on a very tight budget. It's amazing!

I love reading inspiring stories about smart young couples who beat the system with a very unique home on wheels now permanently parked. Read more here with more photos too. xo

Great Window with A Nice View

via
I opened some of my windows today to let in some fresh air. It was so nice, though a bit chilly. I like the way these windows open without a crank. This way makes so much more sense. No crank to get stripped. The gardens and garden house look beautiful. xo
