A Royal Christening: Family Portrait

I was so happy to find this royal family portrait on a cool Saturday morning here at the cottage. This is the first one I've seen with Princess Charlotte out of her pram. They are such a beautiful family and so perfect together. photographed by Mario Testino

Prince George, Style Icon

Look out world, here I come!
His outfit by Rachel Riley sold out in sizes 12 and 18 months in fewer than 24 hours. Luckily the wearers will be too young to notice their peers wearing the same smocked outfit. I think Prince George looks adorable and I always love seeing him in action. His baby sister's christening was beautiful and it was so nice seeing the whole family together in their Sunday best. via

HRH Princess Charlotte of Cambridge

She has a name: Charlotte Elizabeth Diana
The newest UK royal, a girl born on Saturday, has been named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.

The middle names, of course, hark to her great-grandmother, the current queen, and her paternal grandmother, Princess Diana, who died in 1997.

Charlotte, a feminine form of Charles, is likely a nod to her grandfather, Prince Charles. via

My Favorite Photo of Prince George

Just look at those eyelashes and his expressive eyebrows. Love his collar and sweater and his hair too. I copied this from Royal Love Story and the caption there was, "Someone call the doctor--Prince George is giving us BABY FEVER." I have a bad case of it, do you?

Kate, William, and Little George

A recent family portrait with 8 month old George and the royal dog, Lupo.

This must be the start of the royal tour to New Zealand. Maybe they are still in England at this point, not sure.

He's adorable, isn't he. Kate is such a hands-on mom! I want to see more of Prince George, don't you?

They so enjoy each other's company.

Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, Queen Ellizabeth II and Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay laugh as they watch the sack race during the annual Braemer Highland Games at The Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park on September 7, 2013 in Braemar, Scotland.
