I wish these were the orange leaves at my house. Unfortunately mine are brown. The yellows are pretty but overall the woods look pretty drab. The poison ivy is a lovely red though. I am thrilled a friend shared the name of a man who is immune to it. He works on a daily rate that I found to be quite reasonable. My friend has him on a regular basis and is going to drive him by my house so he can assess my situation. My front grove of evergreens is covered with it. Will keep you posted.
Another large dead tree has fallen on my property and I'm awaiting my tree man for removal. It's always something, Isn't it?
Look closely on the left above leaves and undergrowth for a dead tree. It's actually pretty big. The rootball and much of the trunk is on my neighbor's property. I'm just going to have the men cut what is on my path and field so it shouldn't be too disruptive.
See you again soon -- for Halloween. Have a great weekend.

Bless you, hope you get that nasty poison ivy out of there. Hairy vine, no friend of mine.
Rosemary - it is just like Gilda Radner said "It's always something". How lucky to find a nurseryman who is immune to poison ivy issues! Enjoy the rest of your fall season.
Kay, The only rhyme I know is Leaves Three, Let it Be. So glad to have another. Love yours: Hairy vine, no friend of mine. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving, xo, Rosemary
Kathi -- Gilda was right. It IS always something. I found another worker who has literally saved my life getting my overgrown property back to normal. He is the BEST worker I have ever had. He works alone and never stops and is very thorough. I ended up hiring him to cut all the dead limbs on my evergreens We pulled down all the vines and he pulled off all the poison ivy and cut it back at tree trunks. In the spring he will pull up all the hairy roots. The trees look wonderful and so does the rest of my property, It was a busy summer and fall. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving tomorrow. xo, Rosemary
