I like this chair arrangement a lot. You will enjoy seeing the rest of this Washington townhouse decorated for Christmas here. Sorry it's out of season but I couldn't wait.🎄

I always have liked that arrangement too. with a reading light shared between the two on a table. and with this 'early' Heat... in the 90's and 100 already... it's nice to think of Christmas actually! xoxo
Lovely home. Hard to beat black and white when it comes to achieving a classic look. I agree with tammy j, I don't mind thinking of Christmas. It got hot (literally overnight) and now we have the AC on! We went from wintry temps to summer.
Adore every bit of this home. Alas, Laura. She's my Bad A$$ cat. Seeing much in the pics she would enjoy shredding.
More, a little idea, ahead of Christmas. Small round table in foyer at front door. Will source one, junking, soon. Use it solely at Christmas. With gorgeous bowl & little Christmas tree.
Ca. 1900 house, front door opens into Central Hall, 9' wide x 80' long.
Tara Dillard -- You have plenty of time to find a round table before Christmas. I remember when you were moving and how excited you were about finding this wonderful old house. Happy searching. xo, Rosemary
tammy j -- Tam, So far I have been spared any unbearably hot days but they are coming. I am trying to do my really hard outside work beforehand. Have a great weekend. xo, Rosemary
Pam -- Turning on my central air for the first time is always a sad day for me every year. But I'm glad I have it! I hope you can turn yours off every now and then and raise your windows. Enjoy the weekend. xo, Rosemary
