What a lovely home--and those daffodils--oh my!

Bet you're feeling great about having your ceiling vent project all finished! Have a good weekend, Rosemary.

Linda A. -- I'm glad you are enjoying my daily blog posts. I am planning a weekend to get things back in order after two weeks of living in a mess in almost every room. Such is my life. Mess up, straighten up, repeat. xo, Rosemary

Pam -- I am beyond thrilled with the way this project turned out. It looks better than brand new and will make my life so much simpler. I love this newly whitewashed cottage and had planned to have mine repainted this year but so far I haven't found the right workman. Have a good weekend too, Pam. xo, Rosemary

Doesn't that cottage look as though it has been there forever? Love the sturdiness (permanent-ness?) of it. Hoping you have a lovely holiday weekend doing exactly what you want to do. Ours looks to be a wet one which will keep me from doing what I would rather do out in the garden. But we'll make it a snug one inside. I have a rhubarb cake baking as we speak and the aroma is wonderful!

Mama Pea -- Yum. Your rhubarb cake sounds wonderful!!! I got up early and I'm having a wonderful time doing small organizing jobs as I put all my tools away. We had torrential rainstorms yesterday afternoon after I did a bit of mowing and all last night. It was foggy this morning and very overcast. I am doing indoor jobs too while the house is nice and cool. Monday and Tuesday are supposed to be sizzling and I might have to turn on my central air. I am so happy the project with the ceiling ducts was completed beforehand. That delightful Irish cottage does look as if it's been there forever. Enjoy your long weekend and I hope you can get out to your garden soon. xo, Rosemary
