Although we can't be sure of exactly how the Easter bunny originated, we can enjoy celebrating this wonderful holiday. One of our grand daughters is old enough to hunt for eggs, so we're looking forward to hiding some treasures for her. Life is short...it's good to celebrate whenever possible! xo

I absolutely love bunnies. To me, they are just the cutest things. How could one not like these adorable, sweet, soft creatures that hop around and constantly wiggle their little noses? I had two bunnies once, and everything you have ever heard about rabbits is true. Every time you get a phone bill, you have more bunnies. I finally had to find a new home for them. A lady who had a small ranch in a more rural area not too far from me, with lots of animals, adopted them.

Thank you for enlightening me on the history of the Easter Bunny, Rosemary. I would have guessed that it's history did not go that far back, but was a more recent, and was something created for children.

I love Easter time. I always associate it with Spring, which to me, is the most beautiful time of the year.

Lisa D. -- What a story about your experience with raising rabbits. So enjoyable. Easter is late this year so we should have nice Spring weather, fingers crossed. I too was surprised how far back rabbits were associated with Easter. xo, Rosemary

Pam -- Hiding Easter eggs for grandchildren must be so exciting and such fun for you. Hopefully you have saved things from your children's Easters to decorate the house. Enjoy. xo, Rosemary
