Wow! A few times in the last 24 years; we have had this kind of colors on our Boston Ivy on our house.....doesn't look like it this year......just kind of browning......maybe it will get more colorful; but I think this year is a dud! What a gorgeous riot of color on this house.....I think it is the same ivy as ours!!
It's beautiful. I've always loved stone houses. If I were going to choose the house of my dreams, it would be a house with a stone exterior. And houses covered with vines are just gorgeous. Although I understand that is very hard on the house's exterior, and knowing that, I always wonder how homeowners deal with it. They must spend a lot of time and money protecting the exterior integrity of their home.
