There are no words for the tiredness of my bones. I don't think I even combed my hair because I hit the ground running this morning and never stopped. I worked in my basement and in the garage and moved mountains. I am not finished but I made a major dent. The bee above is feasting on one of my milkweed flowers. I haven't seen many butterflies this year. Wonder why? See you tomorrow. xo

I have worked that way in the past! but age does one thing...
it forces you to pace yourself. whether you want to or not.
I hope you have a GOOD night's rest. just think of all you accomplished! xo
Wow! Do tell…what kind of projects were you working on?
Hurray for all growers of milkweed!!! We're seeing lots of bees and dragonflies in our overgrown pasture. Not many butterflies here, either. However, when the butterfly weed was growing (bright orange flowered plant--can't think of its name), we saw Monarchs and Swallowtails. Rosemary, you're amazing. Even though we feel the effort of hard work, it is so satisfying to care for our homes. You've done much lately. Hoping a rest is on the horizon for you. xoxo
I don't have many butterflies because of all my shade, but do see them over the creek. However, I did spot two Monarch caterpillars on one of my milkweeds & now see one chrysalis. It's so exciting. I had one a few years ago, but was away on the day it emerged. I hope to see this one.
The orange milkweed is asclepius tuberosa. I can't seem to get them to grow here but had them in other gardens I've had...just gorgeous.
...all is grace!
