I have had the black antique plant stand forever and I could never find the right place for it until last Sunday when I discovered it would fit perfectly between the sliding glass door and the window on the lower level. I already had the geraniums on the top. I picked up four more today at the grocery store, repotted them in terracotta pots, and I am thrilled.
I got the pair of aluminum chairs on the Nextdoor App over the winter the day after I got plowed out when we had 24 inches of snow on the ground. I love them in this setting. Isn't it funny when things come together after years of being in limbo?

ROSEMARY! I thought it was a magazine picture.
I loved it even before I read what you did.
it's just enough. it's Beautiful!!!
I would sit out there a lot! XO
First of all - I love your deck (our big deck fell completely OFF of our house in a big snow:( and your plant stand is just absolutely perfect! **isn't it SO much fun when something comes together like this? It makes you happy every time you look at it:)
Yes! you really have pulled all those individually lovely part together. Looks like the perfect spot to sit and read, sip some iced tea, or watch the sunset. What a wonderful little haven you have created!
Rosemary, I think you're going to enjoy your patio! It's always like fitting together puzzle pieces when it comes to making things work, but that plant stand is a great addition to the space and the geraniums offer that wonderful burst of color. Good looking new chairs, too. Its always fun to see what you're doing at your cottage!
tammy j -- Tam, Thank you. I am enjoying this space so much more than my balcony which gets too hot. Being on the ground is cooler and there are no bars to look through. Thanks for your kind words.

Karen -- Thank you. I go outside when I first get up to open up the downstairs for fresh air. Then I empty my container of food scraps into the compost bin. Then I enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck before the sun gets over the trees. I am enjoying this space immensely. Good luck replacing your deck.

kathiquilts -- I am enjoying my little haven so much. I have pineapple mint coming up between the cracks in the deck flooring so I'm all set for iced tea season.

Pam, I'm glad you like the way my puzzle came together. I am already enjoying my patio much more than I have in the past. It has added another dimension to my enjoyment of my cottage.

What a beautiful & inviting area in which to relax after a day's labors. Well done!
...all is grace!
Anita ~ the cabin on the creek -- Anita, I added another photo to this post this morning, looking down from my balcony. I do enjoy relaxing down there before I lock up the downstairs each evening.

Very pretty, and I love your aluminum chairs.
Thanks, Lisa D. -- I thought they were pretty, of high quality, and a good buy for $35.00 for the pair. I'm glad you like them too.
