There are a lot of Snapseed edits in my photo of a single poppy after a rain. I forgot to sow my saved poppy seeds and only one plant reseeded itself this year. I have a seed packet to sow in the fall or very early spring. Have a great weekend.

That lonely poppy is incredibly beautiful and a gift for you, Rosemary, from Mother Nature. Have a great weekend. It's rainy here in the midwest, but that's okay. We're ready for a break from outside chores.
It's just beautiful. I adore that brilliant red color. What color would you call that? Just "red" doesn't seem to do it justice.
Pam -- My poppy is truly a gift from Mother Nature. I am expecting some thunder showers this afternoon ant the trees are starting to sway inn the wind. I wasn't planning any outside work as I'm all caught up.
