Covered Open Porch with Brick Floor

It will soon be time to throw open the front door and welcome in some fresh air and put the houseplants you have been overwintering outside! via

I love it. Bricks. Such easy-care maintenance. No scuff marks, no repainting. Will last forever. Just a hose-down and they're good as new.

Gail, northern California -- Gail, You said it all. Bricks are low maintenance, especially in this covered porch application.

I love this porch. It almost looks as though the brick floor extends into the home.

Such a pretty patio to spend the best season of the year on.

Not just any bricks, you guys! these are hand-made bricks....probably "used bricks" or "old bricks".....and they have a little bit of mortar left on the top . Lovely

Brand new, machine made bricks will not look like this.....these are mellow and softer. Do not think you can go get new bricks and get this look.

This is divine!
