My Hula Hoop is Back in Action

I haven't used my weighted Hula Hoop in several years. There was an episode about them on The Drew Barrymore Show recently so I went up to the loft over my garage to get mine out of storage. Now I love it all over again and have gotten up to 400+ revolutions before I make a mistake. It was like riding a bicycle. I hadn't forgotten how! I have looked and looked online and I think this is the one I have.

This is an old photo from a 2012 post when Webster (2002-2016😪) was afraid to come into the kitchen to get the dog biscuit on the floor opposite the threshold. That saddle divides the wide pumpkin pine boards in my kitchen from the narrow maple flooring in my living room.

Good for you, Rosemary. I truly believe staying in motion helps us retain strength and balance. Bless Webster's memory--such a nice dog!

Pam -- You are right. I'm enjoying having something I can do inside while watching TV or outside on my balcony. Thanks for remembering Webster the Wonder Dog.

OH! to see a picture of dear Webster again!
it warms my heart. he Truly was a Wonder Dog.
and I'm so glad you found your hula hoop!
and can still USE it! WOW! that's impressive.
right now I'm recovering from a literal 'face plant'
I did on the hard floor of my own home on March 8.
I'm told my recovery will be Sloth Like. it's a bad wound.
looks like the 'walking dead' right now. too bad it's not Halloween. LOL.
but I'm cheering you on Rosemary!!! so glad you found yours.
(I used to hula hoop too! it will be a Good incentive!) XOXO

tammy j -- I am so sorry to hear about your accident. I have never heard the term Face Plant but your description sounds as if you fell and landed flat on your face on a hardwood floor. That sounds dreadful but you sound upbeat and determined to overcome your slow recovery. Slow and steady wins the race. Sending you get well soon wishes from the cottage. Thanks for remembering Webster.

Noelle -- You should google Weighted Hula Hoops. They are supposed to be easier than the regular light ones. I have a large unweighted one and I cannot keep it up. I don't wear workout clothes and some of my regular outfits are easier to keep the hoop up than others. Thanks for remembering Webster.
