Pam -- I know. Isn't it amazing that nothing has been changed? A gorgeous circa 1939 whitewashed brick estate home near me was just demolished after the new owners paid over $1.7 million dollars because they liked the "building lot". No words! xo, Rosemary
Pam -- Exactly. It will be interesting to see what goes up in place of the one that was demolished. I knew the original owner and she loved her house. I loved it too and it was wonderful inside though it needed a new kitchen. Not too many people today are interested in restoring or renovating. xo, Rosemary

What a shame! No words, indeed. You and I both know that newer is not always better.
