I walked around outside yesterday and this was the only "color" I could find.
I photographed a lovely female cardinal this morning on my balcony railing.
This is a little glimpse of my upstairs attic office. Right now I have papers and files everywhere as I have just started working on my taxes.

I always enjoy your photos, Rosemary. The first one almost looks like shattered crystal. The ice makes for an interesting contrast to the pine needles and cone. You are definitely surrounded by beauty, inside and outside of your cottage.
Pam -- I am thankful that photo doesn't contain broken car window glass since it's near the space where I park my car. That ice really does look like shattered glass.
xo, Rosemary
Rosemary your delightful photo of a female cardinal reminds me of the Prime film I watched this week about John James Audubon - it told well his remarkable story with exquisite images of his paintings and the birds he studied. I encourage you to take a look if you haven't already seen it.
