I should have posted this earlier instead of on Thanksgiving Eve. There is a template for this design and a recipe for pie crust so you can embellish a FROZEN pumpkin pie from the supermarket. Tutorial and recipe here. If you are baking your own you could just use strips of dough and make these letters by hand.

I watched the video, I read the instructions and printed the stencil and will probably never do it. I love people who create and do things like this but I've become more realistic about what I'm going to pull of these days.
