Still Curating My Living Room

I haven't posted any of my own photos lately so here is a section of my living room. I am still agonizing in my quest to get it perfect and I'm almost there. I have been way too busy trying to get a real estate listing back on the market after two rooms in the house were completely emptied out and guess who had to stage them? I ended up making them look better than they were before. I'll share the before and after photos soon. xo

I think your living room is beautiful...so classic. I know how hard it is to tweak a room to get it just right, not only looking great, but functional as well. You always seem to find that right combination.

...all is grace!

It's wonderful. It looks so cozy and New England-ish. I have a piece of wire work that looks almost exactly like the one you have sitting on the table next to your sofa. Can you please tell me what the built-in is behind your sofa? It looks like maybe it conceals a radiator.

Rosemary, I think your living room looks wonderful. All the photos of the interior of your cottage appear warm and inviting. It IS fun to switch things up and try to improve our living space. Anxious to see the pics you mentioned. Have a great weekend. xoxo

It's always a treat to get a peek into your cottage. Warm, inviting, interesting, so many beautiful acquired treasures and a place I could happily blunk myself down in...sigh.

I'm looking forward to seeing how you've spruced up your listing and hope it brings a buyer ASAP. From what I have been reading everyone is moving from the city to the country so maybe a buyer is on the way.

The Queen Vee -- Victoria, Thank you for being such a loyal follower and for your frequent comments. Today's post shows the before and after staging in the master bedroom of my real estate listing and people are liking it very much.

This is such a lovely room. We also have Bennington Gray paint in our farmhouse. I also love your wire ware and collect it myself.

Rosemary it's funny you mentioned my loyalty, the other day I was trying to figure out how long I have followed your blog and I think it has been 10 years or more. How long have you had this blog? I think Prince William and Catherine have been married 9 years, I remember we were both you and I were watching their wedding and emailing each other while doing so.

I know that I have been rather sporadic in my commenting this past year but rest assured I view every one of your posts. Each one is like spending time with a good friend and that's what I consider you even though we have never met.

Life is a bit crazy on the home front and often I can't think of anything worth while to say. Between the awful state of our country, the election and Covid I think we all feel a bit weary and stressed. Throw in a husband with declining mental health and sometimes I want to hide under a blanket and never come out. Fortunately I've been blessed with a sense of humor and the ability, most days, to look at the glass as half full.

Do let us know when you get a contract on the before and after house. You are truly an amazing woman, don't stop blogging you would be terribly missed.

The Queen Vee -- Victoria, I started my blog in July 2008. Goodness, how time flies.
