I've said it before but I'll say it again, your posts provide such a wonderful diversion. Not only are we dealing with the pandemic mandates but now California is suffering a horrible heatwave and on high alert for more fires.
Some days you question whether or not you can cope anymore....it just gets to be too much....then I browse through the photos you've provided and things begin to calm.
so much more interesting than a lawn. Snore. Exciting with bees, butterflies, birds....lawns offer really nothing for nature. Selfish people want some expanse of green.....for what? Golf is a reason......can't think of another!! Fascinating meadow....full of activity!

I really do enjoy the various colors and textures of this lawn.
