I love old barns. This picture makes me wonder if the red star has been placed there against the green for Christmas or if it's there year round. Where we live in Illinois, we are seeing many barns being torn down--or falling down due to age and the elements. It always breaks my heart. Many of them are truly works of art.
Pam -- I am pretty sure this red star is up the year round. I agree that it's heartbreaking to see an old barn being torn down. Luckily, I live in an area where they are treasured and the old ones are being restored. HAPPY THANKSGIVING. xo, Rosemary
