Baby Bird Feeding Time

“I think we consider too much the good luck of the early bird and not enough the bad luck of the early worm.” Franklin D. Roosevelt

Love this. Your last two posts, Rosemary, are reminding me that Spring is upon us, and I still have weeding to do on my back hill, in my creek bed and large containers to plant outside on my back patio. It came suddenly this year. We usually get the type of Spring that sort of wanders in slowly...the rain tapers off, and gradually the weather becomes warmer and sunnier, but this year - BAM. Hello. It's Spring, and I'm afraid I'm not the early bird this time around!

I'm always amazed by how hard the mother robins work to keep their babies fed.
