Small Space Love

There is not a single thing I do not love in this photograph. Obviously an antique-loving gardener who likes to fish lives here. The painted floor and the old drop leaf table painted white set off the collection of old watering cans. Love it!

I have been advised that the first photo is from this book: "Nora Murphy's Country House Style" Making your Home A Country House. Thank you for all the comments crediting the first photo. I am so glad to know the source. xo

It's wonderful, and whoever lives there appears to be very prepared for Spring with all that fresh white covering just about everything.

As noted in the watermark in the lower left, it's Nora Murphy's lovely house in CT - her website is www.NoraMurphyCountryHouse.com and she's a genius and a gem. I have followed her website for several years and finally had the chance to meet her at the Country Living (magazine) Fair in Rhinebeck in June last year.

Nora just published her lovely big book, Nora Murphy's Country House Style in September, and it features her own home and several others that also reflect attractive design choices by their respective owners. I'm sure some of your readers know of her, but for those who don't, it's worth having a look at her site.
