It looks as if these sheep are behind in their lawn mowing, doesn't it? I am waiting a little longer before giving mine the last mowing of the season. The Nor'easter yesterday wasn't bad at all in my area, thankfully, but it did bring down a lot of leaves though not enough to rake. I really hate the whole time changing thing and wish, the powers that be, would just do away with it.
Glad your Nor'easter was just a huge leaf blower and not worse than that.
I think they should trade the sheep for goats as they would have that grass mowed in no time at all.
We do use goats here in northern California to "mow" the wild grasses and keep the hillsides free of brush. It's kind of fun to see them. It give me a window of the California of 100 years ago.

My godmother lived in what is now a museum in Winston Salem North Carolina. "Reynolda". I visited her when I was in boarding school. She had the biggest lawn I had ever seen. She hated the noise of lawn mowers......so she got a herd of sheep. the most beautiful view I have ever seen was this beautiful small herd of sheep eating their way (with one shepherd) up and down this lawn. Brilliant!

The Queen Vee == Victoria, I am with you. We should keep Daylight Savings time the year round. I don't look forward to the darkness coming so early. I can't see that it helps at all and the mornings look pretty much the same to me. One day this will happen.
