Yes, it does look cozy. The warm tones of the wood floor, colors in the rug, and the lovely fire would make me feel right at home! I noticed the fringe trim on the rugs, and was reminded of my dear mother. She was an excellent housekeeper, and the fringe on her rugs was always perfect. I like an orderly home, but I don't comb my fringe!
I would like to have a room like that. I could have a room like that but they don't build houses like that any more. And I have a kid who drools all over everything. That would ruin the effect.
I LOVE it!!! I would be right at home with that room....it for sure would have space for my piano, and plenty of bookcases for my bazillion books!! Thanks for posting...now I can dream about it! Blessings, J
