Cleaning My Refrigerator

I have been in a cleaning frenzy lately. My refrigerator was today's project and boy, did it ever need it. It took me a long time too. I started out this morning thinking I would just do a shelf or two and ended up doing the whole thing, and the two freezer drawers down below as well and it felt to good! Weekend before last, I tore my bedroom apart and cleaned it top to bottom. It must be something in my starts. I get this way every now and then and I hope it continues. I put this photo on Instagram today and it seems nobody likes to clean the refrigerator. It is one of those dreaded tasks and it's a pretty thankless job.
You know what they say about housework: "It's something nobody notices until you don't do it." HaHa.

My mother won bonus points with her daughter-in-laws by cleaning their fridge whenever she came for a visit...a couple times a year. I think of her every time I clean mine even though she's been gone more than 20 years.

Kudos for getting a jump start on spring cleaning.

Pat :: Sounds like you had a great mother. Remember those old refrigerators we had to defrost? What a chore that was! We have it pretty now but cleaning a fridge is still a chore almost everyone dislikes. But after it's done, it feels so good!

Your refrigerator looks perfection Rosemary. There is something so satisfactory about a clean well organized fridge; I really struggle with keeping our's organized. I would much rather clean a fridge than a bathroom any day. You are correct though, it's so much easier to clean refrigerators now than in the past when you had to defrost the freezer portion. The one good thing about those older refrigerators was that you cleaned them more often because you had too.
