If you look closely, this cottage is still the same, just better. Most people would have torn it down, right? Aren't you glad they had the vision to see what it could be, again? I'm so happy for the cottage and the new owners. It's fabulous! 1820 Historic Mississippi Farmhouse read the article and see interior photos too. Stunning restoration! Two front doors makes me wonder if it's a duplex? Even cozier then.
Linda Sand -- After your comment I started looking for the location of this and found it in Mississippi. Read all about it here: http://betweennapsontheporch.net/a-historic-mississippi-farmhouse-gets-a-stunning-restoration/

Hats off to the couple who restored this charming older home. The before and after pictures prove what can be done when people truly want to save a historical home. It had to be a huge task, but the results are amazing.
Amazing that someone would take this restoration on. They must really had a love for this old house, and those marbleized wainscotings are to die for!
I just wanted to let you know that your pictures are wonderful. They are my "moment of zen" every evening. I just relax as soon as I see what you've posted. Thank you so much and keep the pictures coming.
Rosemary, Thanks for the link. I enjoyed reading more about this house.
I love before and afters like this, what a labor of love and vision, so impressive.
